The open source Digital & Print Canvases is a set of digital canvases for designing the metadesign level of Open Design initiatives. The canvases can be both edited digitally or printed and used for sketching on paper. This is the suggested tool for designers that already familiar with service design.

The OpenMetaDesign App is an open source python desktop app to be used together with version control systems and GitHub. The app will help you in documenting and visualizing the metadesign part of your Open Design projects. This is the suggested option for people without experience of service design.
